Saarbrücken: MathFilm Festival 2008 (10/08/2008)

If you think mathematics is boring, go study in Saarbrücken! The MathFilm Festival 2008, starting on October 22nd, 2008, will present a series of films all turning around mathematics and numbers. In a series of talks and discussions the MathFilm Festival interrogates the backgrounds of these films such as the history of ENIGMA, the famous coding machine of the Germans in the film of the same name. The idea is to open up a whole new perspective on the subject of maths - and the general public is welcome to all screenings!
