German Chancellor Fellowship Programme: apply now! (10/08/2008)

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation invites applications for its German Chancellor Fellowship Programme from candidates from the Russian Federation: the deadline for applications is November 15th, 2008. The German Chancellor Fellowship Programme offers a twelve-month stay in Germany, intensive language training, a study trip lasting several weeks, and optimum working conditions for individual projects - the aim is to bring potential young leaders to Germany and make them familiar with social, cultural, political and economic life in Germany.

The Fellowship Programme was established in 1990, initially for potential young leaders from the USA. It has gradually been extended to bring as many as ten prospective young Russian leaders to Germany as well as candidates from the People’s Republic of China.
