For the tenth time, the German Research Foundation (DFG) has announced the Communicator Award. The annual award honours academics who have made special efforts to communicate their work and their research findings to the general public. The Communicator Award was created in close cooperation with the Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany (Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft) and is worth 50.000 EUR. All projects located in German-speaking countries are eligible for the prize, applications this year are due by December 31st, 2008.
