The Konrad Adenauer Foundation of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany is actively involved in the further education of young scholars. It provides foreign undergraduates the possibility of obtaining a university degree, increasing their expertise, or receving a PhD. The foundation expects its grantees to later take over responsibility in the government and society of their home countries - especially in the academic and economic fields, politics and administration, media and culture or also in international organizations. No money is granted for a course of study at universities of applied sciences or medical schools.
