The German mail system is reliable. That which gets sent, also arrives. The larger post offices are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. as a rule. Smaller offices might have shorter opening hours. Everything from sending letters to parcels or packages is taken care of here. Telephones are also available for use and there are plenty of telephone books to search almost any number you need. Most letters sent through the mail system reach their destination the next work day, at the latest letters might take two days.
