Studying with Children

Studying is strenuous enough on its own – and with children even more so. Bringing up a child and studying and managing a home at the same time can be draining. Seven to eight percent of all students in Germany have a child. The student services association comes to the rescue again. It can help you find flats or kindergartens. The association has even set up day care centers for students’ children. In addition, students are entitled to the entire range of state aid: from child allowance to housing benefit. Apart from the student services associations, the Academic Office for Foreign Students also advises international students.
